KARE has launched the bold and emotional ‘Fluid Realities’ collection with a design talk at KARE Flagship store Kraftwerk in Munich, where DAS team was also invited.

For the new ‘Fluid Realities’ collection, KARE Head of Design and CEO Jürgen Reiter has brought renowned star designer Karim Rashid on board. Rashid is one of the most influential designers of our time. His designs speak an iconic design language and are recognized worldwide for their unmistakable, visionary aesthetics.

The 60 or so furniture and lighting designs in the new collection combine futuristic elegance with functional clarity. ‘The collection remains true to the expressive character of KARE, but takes it to a new level of design. This collaboration is the next logical step in the development of our brand – and a strong signal to the market,’ says CEO Peter Schönhofen.

Entrepreneurial courage and eccentric brands as a source of inspiration The new collection was created in close collaboration with the two KARE founders Reiter and Schönhofen.

Privately owned Kare Design GmbH is an internationally operating trading company for furniture, lighting and home accessories. Under the slogan ‘We decorate the world’, the company designs and markets its own range of unconventional home design in a wide variety of styles.

Under the umbrella of the KARE brand, the company sells through its own retail outlets, as a wholesaler and as part of its franchise system. It also operates e-commerce and a subsidiary for the contract business. Today, the company has 120 franchise partners in fifty countries. Jürgen Reiter and Peter Schönhofen founded their company in 1981 and still run it today as owners and CEOs.
