Cargo by Mizetto: designed to move, built to last

October 20, 2025

Swedish design brand Mizetto introduces Cargo, a bold new modular sofa system debuting at NeoCon 2025 in Chicago.

Designed in collaboration with Kalmar-based studio ADDI, Cargo transforms traditional seating into a dynamic architectural element.

Inspired by cargo packaging, its modular form consists of three core components, easily connected and reconfigured to adapt to any space.

With a design rooted in geometric clarity and playful distortion, Cargo encourages interaction – whether sitting, reclining, or casually leaning.

A small integrated tray table enhances its multifunctional use, while removable covers and strap details allow for easy maintenance and visual character.

Crafted with sustainability in mind, Cargo is locally produced using durable, repairable materials that support long-term use and minimal transport.

The result is a flexible seating system ideal for high-traffic spaces such as offices, libraries, schools, and cultural venues.

Cargo follows Mizetto’s award-winning seating line, including the celebrated Lumber armchair and reflects Mizetto’s continued drive to push design boundaries with purpose, curiosity, and lasting impact.

“It’s more than furniture,” says Mizetto co-founder Richard Muskala. “It’s about redefining space.”
