GO PARK Sai Sha: Zaha Hadid Architects’ elevated village in Hong Kong

December 12, 2025

Nestled between Hong Kong’s Ma On Shan mountains and the waters of Three Fathoms Cove, GO PARK Sai Sha is Zaha Hadid Architects’ first sports and commercial project in Asia.

The complex is a vibrant community hub combining leisure, commerce, and nature.

Opened in January 2025, it welcomes over a million visitors annually.

Inspired by traditional mountain villages, the architecture blends sculptural volumes with sinuous pathways and ramps, creating a “lifted village” where shopping, sports, and entertainment flow seamlessly across multiple levels.

At its heart is a lively main piazza, framed by cafes, shops, and restaurants.

The rooftop gardens offer panoramic views.

Outdoor amenities include courts, pitches, rock climbing, and a golf driving range, while indoor facilities range from a stadium for 1,500 spectators to a fencing school and swimming academy.

GO PARK Sai Sha blurs the boundaries between built form and landscape, offering an inclusive, immersive environment that redefines urban living in harmony with nature.
