Recently opened in Chisinau, Moldova, Cohya Café has become a place full of attitude, where each detail matters: each piece of furniture and lighting, every plate, every taste contributes to the overall atmosphere.

The interior of the restaurant reminds of an apartment from the 80s, with Romanian furniture, lacquered walls, bookshelves and a gramophone.

The 4.2-meter floating bar is the cafe’s centerpiece.

The Modbar under-counter espresso equipment makes an instant design statement, while the LED lighting underneath the natural stone bar creates a floating illusion.

The refined aesthetics, achieved through flawless details and custom furniture, is combined with the comfort of a restaurant.

The interior mixes leather that creates a cozy effect with its soft touch, walnut wood for its expressive warmth and stylish matt brass for its subtle retro vibes.

The place has two sub-areas: the restaurant with floating bar and a takeaway area.

Cohya has a sophisticated, yet affordable cuisine, and offers the experience of a premium coffee, prepared using Modbar systems.

Cohya is the first cafe from Moldova, whose interior design ranked among the best in Europe at the „Restaurant & Bar Design Awards”.
